The True Meaning of Easter
Remember when we were kids, we celebrate by having Easter eggs hunts, dying Easter eggs, coloring Easter egg pictures and having a big family meals of ham, sweet potatoes and stuff! And, please don’t forget about the Easter Bunny Chocolate!
As we get older, we forget the true meaning of this holiday – which is when Jesus Christ is risen from the dead and we proclaim that by saying Alleluia a lot of times!
Easter is also a time of reflection! A time to ask Him to renew our hope, not despair; faith, not injustice, togetherness, not isolation; and, most of all, His love, not hatred!
My friends, we’ve been through a lot this year, but we’ve made it through with the help of God! All things are possible with Him and we must remember that!

Among the changes we have made around our parish campus, we are grateful for the efforts of Dane Smith of Troup 113 who chose to take on the landscaping of our grounds as his Eagle Scout project last month.
