Let All the Earth Cry Out to God With Joy

Dec 11, 2022 | Community

Among the changes we have made around our parish campus, we are grateful for the efforts of Dane Smith of Troup 113 who chose to take on the landscaping of our grounds as his Eagle Scout project last month. With assistance and contributions from local businesses Kleet Lumber, Mother Earth’s Agway, and Van Cott Nurseries, Dane was able to transform and reinforce our foliage and infrastructure, ensuring that our parish setting will be enjoyed by all into the future.

He has named the project “Garden of Hope,” and we encourage everyone to walk around and take in the results. Thank you Dane, for living out the mission of St. Francis of Assisi, known as the patron of not only animals, but of the environment. We are blessed by your efforts!
