Week of May 29th 2022: Seventh Sunday of Easter
Today as we celebrate the feast of the Ascension we are reminded that Christ’s saving work on earth continues through his disciples…and now through us.
When we give to the poor, God indeed pours his love, peace and joy into our hearts, into our lives and into the hearts of those who are poor.
Your gift in the St. Vincent de Paul Poor Box will help the poor to believe in the mystery of God’s love for them.
Week of May 22nd 2022: Sixth Sunday of Easter
In the Gospel today, Jesus says to us: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.”
In the month of May, through your gifts, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul brought the love and care of Jesus to the poor by assisting families by providing food, utilities, rent bills, etc. Thank you!
*Checks made payable to Society of St. Vincent DePaul and dropped in the collection baskets will help us serve our neighbors in need throughout the Greenlawn area.

Week of May 15th 2022: Fifth Sunday of Easter
In the Gospel today, Jesus says “I give you a new commandment: love one another…. This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
By your gift to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul you show that you have love for one another, especially those suffering and poor, and that indeed you are the disciple of Jesus.
Week of May 8th 2022: Fourth Sunday of Easter
Week of May 1st 2022: Third Sunday in Ordinary Time
In this Sunday’s Gospel, the disciples in their struggle finally recognize Jesus and proclaim, “It is the Lord!”
Have you considered answering the call to “help the poor recognize the Lord in their life” by joining the Society of St. Vincent de Paul?
