April 28th: The Fifth Sunday of Easter
In the Gospel today, Jesus says “Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing.” Indeed, by helping the poor we can “bear much fruit” and we find that with Jesus
we can do everything.
Your gift to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul will show that you are indeed the disciple of Jesus as it will bring your love to those who live in fear and doubt, loneliness and dread.
April 21st: The Fourth Sunday of Easter
Today, we celebrate “Good Shepherd Sunday” where we reflect on Jesus’ care and love of us.
This month, through your gifts, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul brought the love and care of Jesus to the poor by assisting families by providing food, utilities, rent bills, etc. Thank
April 14th: The Third Sunday of Easter
In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus explains that the meaning of the scriptures. Like the disciples, when we offer and receive forgiveness our hearts burn because we encounter the risen Christ within us.

April 7th: The Second Sunday of Easter –
Divine Mercy Sunday
In the Gospel today, Jesus stands in the midst of us and says: “Peace be with you!”
During Mass we turn to each other and say “Peace be with you!” As you put your gift into the St. Vincent de Paul box you say “Peace be with you!” to those who are poor and hungry.
Catholic Cross Outreach
Father Farrell E. “Mac” McLaughlin of Cross Catholic Outreach will be visiting our parish next weekend August 6th and 7th to speak at all the Masses on behalf of the poor in developing countries.
The Holy Shroud of Turin 2022 Recap
Over 100 people attended the presentation on July 20 as Mr. Joseph Arralde, science teacher at Herricks Middle School, and Mr. Ted Gentile of Center of Life in Bellmore showed a full length image of the Shroud, believed to have been the burial cloth that covered the crucified body of Christ in the tomb.
First Saturday Devotions Extended and Enhanced
On our first Saturday for the month, August 6th – the Feast of the Transfiguration – we will host Catholic philosopher and author, Daniel O’Connor.
