Starfish Coffee House Night Zoom

Last month, the Starfish Coffee House hosted their weekly Wednesday night zoom meeting with special Guest Father Phillip Tran from Miami, Florida. Rosanne Nelan, the Wednesday night meeting coordinator, went through Father Tran’s RCIA program during her senior year of college at the University of Miami.

Father Tran is the Catholic Chaplin for the University of Miami and head of the Catholic Campus Ministry. It was a wonderful evening of collaboration between the Starfish Coffee house and the ministry at UM.

We discussed how Catholicism differs from other Christian sectors and how to better our ministry for our young people in the church. Father Tran is an awesome young and energetic priest and inspires our Catholic youth everyday. We hope to have him join us again soon!
