September 24th: Twenty-Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time
On September 27, the Church celebrates the feast of St. Vincent de Paul, who knew that “God had sent him to bring good news to the poor.” Together with your gifts, the members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul continue his work and mission in our parish.
This month, through your gifts, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul was able to “bring good news to the poor,” by assisting families by providing food, utilities, rent bills, etc. Thank you
September 17th: Twenty-Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time
The challenge in today’s Gospel, is to forget how others have behaved toward us and to look to God’s way of loving and forgiving. Our focus must be on God.
Is there a neighbor or friend of yours who is in temporary need because of a loss of a job or an illness? Please leave a message for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul…we want to help!
September 10th: Twenty-Third Sunday in Ordinary Time
In today’s Gospel, Jesus says: “…where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
Is there a family you know who needs assistance? Please call the Society of St. Vincent de Paul so that together we help them to know that indeed “God is in the midst of them.”
Septemeber 3rd: Twenty-Second in Ordinary Time
Today, we hear Jesus say to us, “For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” The challenge is to let go so God can lead us.
This month, through your gifts, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul enabled the poor to experience Jesus’ presence by assisting families, providing in food, and funds for utility and rent bills, etc. Thank You!
