For over a year now — coming out of covid restrictions -Madeleine Hebert has become a dedicated, conscientious St. Francis Altar Server. In fact she is currently a mentor for two up and coming Altar Servers.

Madeleine is an 8th grade honor student at St. Patrick’s School, Huntington; she’s on her school’s volleyball team, plays the “Queen” role in “Rock ‘n Roll Cinderella”, school play and she runs with the Our Lady of Mercy, H.S. girls’ track team. In her free time, Madeleine likes to hang out with her friends, read books, and sing-along to Taylor Swift. Born in Ohio; at age 2 her family moved to Maine for 6 years; presently living on Long Island for 4 years.

Initially required service credit was her motivation to become an Altar Server. Now she realizes all she is learning about her faith in God at school, becomes alive as she serves on team at Holy Mass most every Sunday.

God bless you Madeleine, thank you for being loyal and so cheerful.
