Paint Night Makes a Huge Splash!

Feb 26, 2023 | Community, Social

St. Francis held it’s first paint night on Friday, February 17 and the response was overwhelming! Led by members of the Spirit of Huntington Art Center – Michael and Cathy Kitakis, Diane Young, and Ingrid Cuadra – 45 participants had a great time emulating famous artist Bob Ross and his techniques in creating landscapes of mountains and trees. The group was a wonderful cross section from ministries around the parish, and Fr. Peter himself joined the gathering. Reactions were unanimously positive, with many commenting “when are we doing this again?” Look for a return engagement of the paint party sometime in early June.
