Kickoff for 40 Days for Life

There were approximately 65 volunteers praying on February 26 at the vigil site in Smithtown for the kickoff to 40 Days for Life, sponsored by the Diocese.

The Mass following at St. Patrick Church in Smithtown was also well attended, with approximately 100 participants. Auxiliary Bishop Coyle was the lead presider, with Msgr. Walden, three priests, and a deacon with him on the altar. The Lord truly blessed the assembly with His presence! An opening Mass for 40 Days for Life was also held in Hempstead, with Auxiliary Bishop Henning as the main celebrant. A Rosary for Life is scheduled for Friday, March 25, as it is every fourth Friday of the month. Virtual link via Zoom and details can be found on the Diocesan website, and below.
