The Lay Carmelites at St. Francis will host Hospitality Sunday on May 15, after the 8:00am and 10am Masses. The members will be memorializing Fr. Driscoll, who was their Spiritual Assistant for the past twenty years.
His 58th Ordination anniversary is May 30th; as a fitting tribute to his many good works, the ministry will be showing a video presentation of G.K. Chesterton, produced here in 2005 with Fr. Pat’s encouragement. Four of Fr. Driscoll’s books will be available for any goodwill donation. If anyone would like to submit a brief written note about the pastoral care Fr. Driscoll offered, the Carmelites would appreciate these as well.
The parish is also invited to participate in the annual May Crowning of Our Lady of Fatima, which will be held outside immediately following the 12noon Mass on May 15.
Questions can be directed to Ellen Lobasso at 631 486-2155.
