NEWS FROM RELIGIOUS EDUCATION: Catechists Needed!

Jun 23, 2024 | Ministries

We have been busy in the Religious Ed office preparing for September classes. Registration is ongoing for Grades 1 – 8; books and materials have been ordered for our students.

As always, there is a need for catechists. Are you interested in teaching the children of our parish about Our Lord and our wonderful Catholic faith? Pray about it and see if the Holy Spirit leads you to this rewarding ministry! Stop by our office in the lower church or call us at 631-754-6436 if you’d like to talk about teaching. God bless you and thanks!

Teachers are needed for the following grades:

Grade 6 – Monday 4:30 – 5:30pm – this is the grade with our greatest need – we need 2 – 3 teachers

Grade 3 – Tuesday OR Wednesday 4:30 – 5:30pm – one teacher needed

Grade 4 – Tuesday OR Wednesday 4:30 – 5:30pm – one teacher needed
