Liturgical Minister Training-Fall 2022
Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion: Part A – This training is required for all those who are beginning as Ministers. This “BASIC” training is required for all Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion. Those who wish to minister in hospitals, nursing homes and to the homebound are required to attend Part B training in addition to BASIC training. One must attend Part A trainingprior to Part B training.
Lector Workshop is available for both new and experienced lectors.

Tuesday, Oct. 25 – St. Elizabeth of Hungary/ Melville – Msgr. Kane Hall; 7 pm – 10 pm.

Saturday, Oct. 29 – St. Rosalie/ Hampton Bays – Community Center; 9 am- noon.
Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, Part A ONLY*
Saturday, Nov. 5 – St. Paul the Apostle/ Brookville – Lower Level; 9 am-noon.

Saturday, Oct. 29 – St. Rosalie/ Hampton Bays -Community Center; 1 :00 pm – 4:00 pm*
Tuesday, Nov. 15 – St. Elizabeth of Hungary/ Melville – Msgr. Kane Hall; 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Saturday, Nov. 19 – St. Paul the Apostle/ Brookville -Lower Level; 9 am- noon.
*This is the first time we are offering Part A and Part B on the SAME day. Those who attend Part A in the morning are welcome to bring lunch or leave for lunch and return for the 1 pm Part B session. Only those pre-registered for part B will be allowed to stay for this second session.
A letter from your pastor will be required to reserve your space at any of these trainings and must be received at least five days prior to the session you wish to attend. To request registration for any of these sessions, please contact your rectory. Thank you for your interest!
