Parish Mission with Fr. Lou Cerulli October 24th – 26th
We welcome back to St. Francis Fr. Lou Cerulli, who was very well received here at our Lenten Mission. Fr. Lou brings to us a faith filled and joyful message of peace, healing, and freedom in the Lord.
Fr. Lou comes to us from Montréal, Canada, and is delighted to be invited back again.
After years of working as a consultant on management and communication skills for major companies, Father Lou entered the seminary as a late vocation in 1985. Since his ordination, he has been active in parish ministry, teaching internationally as well as ministering through retreats, workshops, speaking engagements, and healing services. Among his many experiences, Fr. Lou has also participated in Cursillo and the Charismatic Renewal since the early 70’s.
During his four years of service in parish ministry, he experienced an intense calling to a ministry
of preaching, teaching, and healing. Following a process of prayer and meetings with the diocesan authorities, Fr. Lou was given permission to be relieved of parish responsibilities and to devote himself full-time to the preaching, teaching, and healing ministry. Since then, he has continued to minister and travel internationally, instructing and conducting services on this extremely important dimension of our faith and God’s love.
Our parish mission from October 24-26 is a follow-up to our Lenten Mission with Fr. Lou held this past spring, as we are invited to reconnect with spiritual refreshment for our journey towards year end. Fr. Cerulli will be speaking at all Masses on Saturday and Sunday, October 22-23. There will be an additional short daytime Saturday mini-mission for those who cannot attend the evening missions.
