An Invitation to Inspiration
A new program from the Diocese of Rockville Centre is about to begin, and all Teens from around the diocese are invited!
INSPIRE, a series of nights for teens will be held several times over the next few months, with the first local gathering at 7:00pm next Friday, October 22nd. The evening will feature faith enrichment with praise and worship, followed by games and refreshments. To give everyone a chance to attend, events will be held this month, and again in January and April in three convenient locations on Long Island. Teams of youth leaders and young adults in their 20’s and 30’s will be on hand as facilitators for what promises to be an uplifting evening of faith sharing, and hope for one another.
INSPIRE is a great way to connect with other teens from our area. With over 40,000 Catholic teens living on Long Island there are bound to be new people to meet, to connect with and share faith and friendship. For parishes in our area, INSPIRE CENTRAL will be held on Friday, October 22nd, 7:00pm at St. Joseph’s parish in Babylon. Doors open at Nolan Hall, 39 N. Carll Avenue, Babylon. INSPIRE EAST events will be held in January and April at St. John the Evangelist in Riverhead. INSPIRE WEST events will take place in January and April at St. Barnabas the Apostle parish in Bellmore. We will keep you posted on future dates.
So put the date in your phone and join with other teens for an evening of inspiration and community. Hope to see you there!
