SERENITY CINEMA PRESENTS: Cabrini

May 12, 2024 | Entertainment, Social

“Arriving in New York City in 1889, Italian immigrant Francesca Cabrini is greeted by disease, crime and impoverished children. She soon sets off on a daring mission to covince the mayor to secure housingand health care for society’s most vulnerable. With broken English and poor health, Cabrini uses her entrepreneurial mind to build an empire of hope unlike anything the world has ever seen.”

From Angel Studios who brought us The Chosen ~ Join us for the private exclusive streaming feature of CABRINI! On this upcoming Memorial Day Weekend let us remember and be grateful for all those who lost their lives to defend our country, and for Mother Cabrini who fought for many of our own families who came thru Ellis Island.  FAITH, FILM, & FINGER FOODS!

Saturday May 25th @6:30pm
For Info: Lisa Marie Johnson 605-681-0017

Saint Mother Cabrini founded the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a religious institute that was a major support to her fellow Italian immigrants to the United States. Cabrini was the first U.S. citizen canonized a saint by the Catholic Church, on July 7, 1946.
