We Have a Winner…or Three!
Each year, The Knights of Columbus sponsor a Poster Contest for children in grades K – 8. The theme of the contest is “Keep Christ in Christmas.” Entrants must create an original drawing that reflects this holy theme.
Peter Dowd is Grand Knight of our local Greenlawn Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph’s Council 4810, and a teacher for 6th grade in our Religious Education program. We are proud to announce the following
winners for St. Francis:
Audrey Cleary – winner of the grades 6-8 division
Ashlyn Johnson – winner of the grades 3-5 division
Logan Johnson – winner of the grades K-2 division
Each winner received a $50 gift card. We are so proud of all our entrants! Each child who entered a poster received a beautiful certificate from the Knights. The posters are on display in the lower church until mid-February for everyone to see. You can also view them on our parish website.
Thank you to the Knights for sponsoring the contest, and for the wonderful work they do
in our parish community.
Medjugorje Pilgrimage 2021 (Part 2)
I have history with Medjugorje. My parents went there in the 80’s to see what was happening and while there they transformed from nominal Sunday Catholics to living the Gospel in everyday life!
Information Regarding Requests for (Catholic) Religious Exemptions from Vaccines
The Catholic Church does not morally oppose vaccines in and of themselves and has never taught that the use of vaccines is morally wrong.
