Third Order Lay Carmelites
These words of the prophet Elijah have become the motto of the Carmelite order.
As we recognize him as the founder of the order, we as Lay Carmelites invite you to celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on Tuesday, July 16th at the 12:00 noon Mass, with enrollment in the Brown Scapular, a sign of Our Holy Mother’s protection.
Luncheon will follow in the lower church. May Elijah’s spirit guide us to the Holy Mountain, Jesus our Christ.

Liam McDonald‘s presentation last week to our women’s group of the Starfish Coffee House, with his topic “Our Gifts of the Holy Spirit”; how each person can discover the gifts – or tools – God has given us to use in our own way to build up his kingdom.

The Sacrament of Confirmation was celebrated joyfully at St. Francis on Saturday April 13. Bishop Luis Romero officiated and was joined by Fr. Peter and Deacon Allan.
