The True Meaning of Easter
Remember when we were kids, we celebrate by having Easter eggs hunts, dying Easter eggs, coloring Easter egg pictures and having a big family meals of ham, sweet potatoes and stuff! And, please don’t forget about the Easter Bunny Chocolate!
As we get older, we forget the true meaning of this holiday – which is when Jesus Christ is risen from the dead and we proclaim that by saying Alleluia a lot of times!
Easter is also a time of reflection! A time to ask Him to renew our hope, not despair; faith, not injustice, togetherness, not isolation; and, most of all, His love, not hatred!
My friends, we’ve been through a lot this year, but we’ve made it through with the help of God! All things are possible with Him and we must remember that!
Love,
Joey Dorr

The Lenten Diaper Drive was a Great Success!!
This year, 7th grade students in our Religious Education program along with Girl Scout Troop 79 decided to hold a Lenten Diaper Drive to assist the mothers and babies that come to St. Francis Baby Corner for help with supplies.
Yet More Progress!
As you can see, there has been great progress on the renovation of the parish garage that began this month.
