The True Meaning of Easter
Remember when we were kids, we celebrate by having Easter eggs hunts, dying Easter eggs, coloring Easter egg pictures and having a big family meals of ham, sweet potatoes and stuff! And, please don’t forget about the Easter Bunny Chocolate!
As we get older, we forget the true meaning of this holiday – which is when Jesus Christ is risen from the dead and we proclaim that by saying Alleluia a lot of times!
Easter is also a time of reflection! A time to ask Him to renew our hope, not despair; faith, not injustice, togetherness, not isolation; and, most of all, His love, not hatred!
My friends, we’ve been through a lot this year, but we’ve made it through with the help of God! All things are possible with Him and we must remember that!

Hospitality Sunday
The Lay Carmelites at St. Francis will host Hospitality Sunday on May 15, after the 8:00am and 10am Masses where we will be memorializing Fr. Driscoll.
Friday Friends Car Wash Friday Friends
Friday Friends is having a car wash to raise money for the program. The funds will help pay for supplies, food (children and teens eat—a lot!), and our end of year picnic.
