The St. Francis Giving Trees

Nov 22, 2020 | Community

The St. Francis Giving Trees have appeared in the church in all their splendor!

Our trees are adorned with very special ‘ornaments’ – they are are tags that bear the gender and age of children who would love to receive Christmas presents this year but whose families need assistance from the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

There are two trees:

One in the main lobby and one near the baptismal font.

Here’s how the Giving Trees work:

  1. Take a tag(s) of your choice and shop for a gift appropriate for the gender and age shown.
  2. Wrap the gift, attach the tag, and place the gift(s) under the trees.
  3. You will see that the tags have a either a red, yellow, or blue dot on them.

The dots represent a suggested price range for gifts:

Red is $10
Yellow is $15
Blue is $20

God bless you for your generosity and for following Christ’s call to care for our neighbors!

Please note! GIFTS MUST BE RETURNED NO LATER THAN MONDAY, DECEMBER 15th SO THAT THEY MAY BE DISTRIBUTED TO THE FAMILIES!
