Do you know which saint began the tradition of the Christmas Play? Wait for it – Our very own St. Francis of Assisi! Please join us this season as we honor the Baby Jesus and our patron saint. Here are the important dates:

• Save the Date: The Christmas Play will be on Sunday, December 11th during the 10am Family Mass.
• First Rehearsal/Assignment of Roles will be on Sun., November 6th after the 10am Mass in the Church basement.

We welcome all children to choose their roles: shepherds, angels, animals, the three wise people, Mary and Joseph and even a star, the sun and the moon! Older children/teens are wanted for speaking/singing roles such as the narrators. Adult Volunteers welcome! Please contact Lena Pennino Smith at 516-974-4839 or lenapennino@gmail.com for more information.
