It has been two decades since Jim Caviezel played Jesus in the “Passion of the Christ.” Here he plays St. Luke in another major religious film, “Paul, Apostle of Christ.” Also starring James Faulkner as St. Paul. The movie follows St. Paul in the last days of his life, facing Roman imprisonment for preaching Christianity while waiting execution under Emperor Nero. Luke, a physician, can visit Paul in jail. The Holy Shroud of Turin 2022 Recap
Over 100 people attended the presentation on July 20 as Mr. Joseph Arralde, science teacher at Herricks Middle School, and Mr. Ted Gentile of Center of Life in Bellmore showed a full length image of the Shroud, believed to have been the burial cloth that covered the crucified body of Christ in the tomb.
