Pilgrim Virgin Statue Visits St. Francis Parish

The world famous Pilgrim Virgin Statue, sponsored by the World Apostolic of Fatima USA – Our Lady’s Blue Army, which has been traveling the world since 1947, as well as the first class relics of Jacinta and Francesco, blessed us and visited us here at St. Francis on June 15, 2024.

Our Lady’s image was processed in as the congregation welcomed her in song and was crowned by Father Peter, our Pastor, as she reached the sanctuary. Many came forward to venerate Our Lady and the relics. 

Numerous hearts and souls were touched by Our Lady’s powerful message of salvation and hope and continued prayer. It was a beautiful day of prayer honoring Our Lady. The lay Carmelites, Betania members and Divine Will study group led us in prayer throughout the six hours. 

As Our Lady’s statue was processed out, the congregation waved white Handkerchiefs, and tears were shed by many who expressed renewed feelings of hope and peace, with the power of the Rosary as our greatest weapon.
