HOMEBOUND MINISTRY Ministry of the Sick

Jun 23, 2024 | Community

At the Last Supper Jesus told the disciples to “Take and Eat” and that is what we do each time we come to Mass. However, there are many parishioners who cannot participate at Sunday Mass because of illness or disability. The Homebound Ministry at St. Francis of Assisi exists to provide Eucharistic visitation to those that are homebound, in assisted living facilities, or hospitalized.

This ministry demonstrates care and concern for the sick from our faith community, and provides the opportunity to pray with those that are unable to attend Mass in person. If you are in need of a visit from a Homebound Eucharistic Minister, please contact the Rectory at (631) 757-7435 or by email at stfrancisgreenlawn@gmail.com to coordinate this blessed gift.
