As the peaceful and fun days of summer beckon us to a more relaxed schedule, our thoughts here in the religious ed office are focusing on fall classes. As we plan for September, we see that our major issue is staffing.
We need religion teachers for Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8; the need is especially critical in Grades 3 and 6.
Do you have a desire to share your faith with the children of St. Francis? It’s a commitment of one hour a week. We will provide you with the essentials you’ll need and the Holy Spirit provides the rest. For some of our kids, the hour they come for class is the only exposure they have to the Catholic faith. While it’s not an easy task, teaching children can be such a rewarding experience. We plant the seeds – the Holy Spirit takes it from there!
If you’re interested in teaching or in learning more about it, call the Religious Ed office at the number below or stop by and visit us. I’d love to speak with you about our program. Please pray about it and see if Our Lord is calling you to this ministry.
Thank you and God bless,
