First Saturday Devotions Extended and Enhanced
On our first Saturday for the month, August 6th – the Feast of the Transfiguration – we will host Catholic philosopher and author, Daniel O’Connor. His books “The Crown of Sanctity”, “The Crown of History”, and his most recent “Thy Will Be Done” are being read by many parishioners.
Also scheduled to speak is Sr. Francesca of the Benedictine Sisters of the Divine Will. A live streaming of the Consecration of Our Lady of America from Rome City, Indiana will be shown on our big screen, in addition to our regular first Saturday devotions as follows:
9:00am – 11:00am: Meet and Greet
11:00am: Rosary; Meditation on the Fifth Joyful Mystery, “The Finding of Jesus in the Temple,” by Bl. Bartolo Longo (Rosary will be held concurrently with Confessions)
12:40pm: Holy Mass with Fr. Kline
1:15pm: Bring Your Own Lunch; coffee, tea, and water will be available
1:45pm – 3:30pm: Conferences
