Box City – A homeless Experience Learning Event

Sleep one night in a box and help raise awareness of the
many homeless that sleep in a box every night.

Sign-in begins: Saturday June 5th, 2021 at 7:30pm (Lower Church)
Ends: Sunday June 6th, 2021 at 7:30am

St. Francis Youth Ministry is hosting Box City at St. Francis of Assisi. Box City is a homeless experience learning event to promote awareness of what life is like for many of our local homeless neighbors. Participants will engage in group activities and sleep in their own box and sleeping bag. *Masks Required.

Items needed:

  • Bring your own box or boxes. You can bring items to decorate your box (tape, markers etc.)
  • Sleeping bag
  • Pillow
  • Blanket
  • Dress warmly since it is an outdoor event
  • $10 donation towards future projects
  • Please bring in canned food items to help fill the church’s food pantry
