An Easter Double Blessing
The St. Vincent de Paul Society of our parish has been busy planning for the distribution of gift cards for Easter meals to their clients. Chapter President Phyllis Pottinger wanted to personalize the distribution of the gift cards by enclosing them in Easter greeting cards. Phyllis asked if the students of the Religious Education program would like to make the cards – and they loved the idea!
Children in grades 3 – 8 made over 100 cards with beautiful spring and Easter illustrations and colors; all have written in or on them “Have a Blessed Easter.”
May this be a blessed and joyful Easter for us all!
More Easter Blessings!
On this Independence Day, Let us “Free our Babies”
As we reestablish our Baby Corner in the Former Eucharistic Adoration chapel, may we recommit ourselves to a renewed prayerful effort to end the tragedy of abortion in our land.
