An Easter Double Blessing
The St. Vincent de Paul Society of our parish has been busy planning for the distribution of gift cards for Easter meals to their clients. Chapter President Phyllis Pottinger wanted to personalize the distribution of the gift cards by enclosing them in Easter greeting cards. Phyllis asked if the students of the Religious Education program would like to make the cards – and they loved the idea!
Children in grades 3 – 8 made over 100 cards with beautiful spring and Easter illustrations and colors; all have written in or on them “Have a Blessed Easter.”
May this be a blessed and joyful Easter for us all!
More Easter Blessings!
Church is Good for Your Body and Soul
Recent medical studies revealed that people who attend church at least weekly have longer life expectancies and fewer complications from illnesses or surgeries than non-church goers.
Religious Education Teachers are Needed!
Have you ever thought of becoming a catechist? Our children – now more than ever – need the guidance to learn about our loving and merciful Lord and what it means to be a faithful Catholic.
