Calling All Volunteers in All Ministries!

Aug 21, 2022 | Social

If you are a volunteer within our parish and have not yet registered with the Virtus program and attended a training session, please go online at Virtus.org and create your account. You will be able to complete a Code of Conduct, and find instructions on how to comply with a background check. You will then be able to register for the next session, which is scheduled for 9:30am on Saturday, September 10 at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Centerport.

If you had a background check done more than five years ago, you will receive a prompt to submit an update. You do not have to keep track; the Virtus system will notify you if an update is necessary. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Anita Modelewski, Religious Ed Coordinator at 631 754-6436, or at stfrancisreled@aol.com

No one will be admitted to the session without prior registration online at Virtus. If you do not have access to a computer or an email address, please contact Anita Modelewski and she will help you with alternate arrangements. We have access to a Virtus Facilitator, so there will be more sessions scheduled in the near future at times and dates to suit all schedules. Please contact Anita to get on the list, so we can notify you regarding future sessions. Our parish must be fully compliant with the directives on child abuse prevention within the diocese.

We are all protectors of children. All children.
