Liturgical Minister Training Spring 2022
The Diocese of Rockville Center will offer training for those who wish to serve as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and Lectors.
Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion: Part A – This training is required for all those who are beginning as Ministers. This “BASIC” training is required for all Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion. Those who wish to minister in hospitals, nursing homes and to the homebound are required to attend Part B training in addition to BASIC training. One must attend Part A training prior to Part B training. Lector training is available for both new and experienced lectors.

Tuesday, Apri1 26 – St. Elizabeth / Melville – Msgr. Kane Hall; 7 pm – 10 pm.

Wednesday, April 27 – St. Christopher/ Baldwin – McGoldrick Hall; 7 pm – 10 pm.
Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, Part A AND Lectors
Saturday, April 30 – St. Paul the Apostle/ Brookville – Lower Hall; 9 am – noon.
Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, Part A ONLY
Saturday, May 14 – Christ the King/ Commack – Pastoral Center Gym; 9 am – noon.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion Part B

Saturday, June 11 – Christ the King/ Cammack – Sienna Room; 9 am – 12 noon
